A purveyor of electronic attire, Australian expat Beni plugs himself into the architecture with true house, techno, and disco hues. Having delivered notoriously eclectic yet sheer charming studio output across the years, Beni has also seen his indie-dance days with Riot In Belgium and The Psalm currently inheriting downtempo sounds of the electronica pool. Embracing a decade of music notches on the belt, he presence drives a celebration of distinctive breadths of sound. The Beni profile fairs seamingly with the records he’s been dropping in recent times across Unknown Records, Double Up and Grammy award nominee Riton’s label Riton Time.
Following a colorful path in the studio with Riot In Belgium, Beni previously released debut album ‘House Of Beni’ on Modular, attracting praise from Rolling Stone, Triple J and more. This raised the alarms, drawing attention to his solo work and taking him from city to city, across the continents with House of Beni shows, festivals billing on Field Day, Parklife, Stereosonic and major support slots for Justice, Daft Punk, MIA and more. 2018 has delivered a plethora of opportunity for the now Los Angeles resident, from Californian hot spots, Palm Springs for Coachella weekend to Hong Kong, Japan and a return to Australia.
Beni’s next release comes from a collaborative effort with Craig Williams featuring Mattie Safer on ‘Set You Free’, while side project with The Psalm holds key to a highly anticipated self-titled EP on Riton Time. Carving a vibrant emblem of sonic ambiguity, the Beni name bears notion of the musical work to come and is set to garner a sophisticated yet fun affair amongst enthusiasts.
